Barrels have been used for shipping and storing almost everything.  They belong on station platforms, cars, wharves, and wherever things are to be shipped or stored as well as on bridges and trestles for fire protection.  Our barrels are turned from hardwood and have raised bands.  Barrels are not made in standard sizes like metal drums.  We offer four sizes which are 42" high by 30" diameter barrels in each of the four most common scales.  However, a barrel that is a good height for a fire barrel in one scale could be a nail keg in another scale or a hogshead in third scale.

Each package contains ten .615" diameter by .875" high barrels.  Corresponds to 141" tall in N, 77" tall in HO, 55" tall in S, 42" tall in O and 21" tall in G.
