Last of the bonanza railroads, the T&T ran until 1940 carrying whatever it could scrape out of the alkali desert: borax, gold and silver, and the private cars of millionare miners. This boxcar is nearly a replica of an actual T&T car, the only difference being the fancy outline of the T’s. Prototype cars had a simpler “T&T”. The version shown appeared in advertising for the road. Authentic colors.
