Although its paddle wheel ferries were marvels of ornamentation, and it boasted locomotives chased in silver, NPC freight cars were just “drab brown boxcars” of the plainest sort. Yet the NPC herald painted on some locomotives was pure art. Very coloful too. Here is that herald, done in authentic green, red and yellow colors, to emblazon a boxcar for you. A special design makes application easy. Use a maroon like red as the car color to set off the logo magnificently.
