Northern California’s wine country was served at the turn of the 20th century by this Southern Pacific subsidiary. Its route included a short line, now long gone, through the Valley of the Moon celebrated by Jack London. Free lance logo very similar to parent Espee, features black and blue field in contrast to SP’s famous sunset. Very nice moonlight effect.
