Retarder is used to "slow down" the evaporation of Tru-Color Paint when spraying in hot weather and/or in a hot environment. This formula is designed to not adversely affect the finish of Tru-Color Paint. Tru-Color recommends the Retarder be limited to less than 15% of the color mix in the bottle or the paint cup.
