It was only a tiny narrow gauge, and it did not last very long, but for sheer grandeur of scenery, stirring train operations, and colorful life, it can lift its head proudly. Climbing the Rockies out of Boulder, the C&N got its “Switzerland Trail” nickname the hard way: it earned it! The distinctive lettering of its reporting marks and the blue and white logo were both actually applied to its cars. Can you resist adding the fancy and appealing “Switzerland Trail” slogan too?
