“The Famous Balloon Route! A Pleasant Diversion!” So sang the spieler on the narrow gauge trolley cars. A $1.00 ticket on Sundays let you ride to the beach one way and return another route on the same ticket. Using the same ticket passengers could visit different beaches and travel Sunset Boulevard through Hollywood as a bonus. Passengers had lots of great reasons to ride the cars!
